There is a single line in the song that I'm not sure fits well with IF ["the way your hand feels round my waist...the way your kisses taste"] but aside from that line, this song is absolutely PERFECT for the IF struggle, from momma to baby. I have a friend who is a mother & she said even that line is still fitting because there IS nothing like the feel of your baby's hand against your skin or the taste of your baby's kiss. So maybe it is still fitting, idk. The song is supposed to be about a single person longing to find their soul mate but I don't care, I hear it & take it from the point of view as a childless mother longing to finally have my baby.

Oh I completely get that! :)
--about certain songs (which perhaps in the past I'd classify as "romantic love" songs;) what I'm noticing with some of those songs are how *fitting* they are when it comes to the intense emotions of the IF/ TTC path, as well as that strong maternal instinct! All the songs about unconditional love are certainly fitting. :-)
