It really depends on the doctor and also how relaxed you are.
The one I had 8 years ago - 0. It was OK. You'll just feel pressure when the contrast goes in.
The one 2 weeks ago...about a 7. I blame the doctor and the hospital. They're cheap as heck.
I suggest you use a more spectulum(?) I tend to be small down there - that's why I would need a cesarean. And relax. Don't eat beforehand. Maybe a glass of wine would help though :-)
