Clomid can be bad for some and others might not even feel it. I was pretty emotional and had hot flashes, but on the up side, it was just an oral medication (not shots). It's also pretty cheap, it's the ultrasounds that get you! Are you seeing an OBGYN or a RE? When I started seeing my RE he took me right off of it because it dried my lining out and it wasn't working predictably. I'm not a big fan of the drug, but many others have had success. Best of luck with your new treatment and your HSG! That's one test that isn't bad at all!

I'm seeing an RE. I am so nervous about the HSG. I have read horror stories and others saying it was nothing.. Thank you. I hope all comes out ok with the Clomid. Ihave never been so scared/happy/excited in my whole life lol

It is a huge step. Clomid is a good place to start. Many people have had success with it. Plus, seeing a RE, you'll have a lot more knowledge behind the decisions being made. Good luck!

I am on my 2nd round of clomid, 50mg cd5-9. It has made me very tired and I got extremely emotional right before AF arrived. I am seeing my OBGYN and if I dont get a bfp this cycle I am going to try 1 cycle of 100mg and if that doesn't work I am going to see an RE. Good luck!!

I don't know a lot of the abbreviations used lol not sure what AF or bfp are. Very new to this. Have only had one appointment. I'll be going for bloodwork on the 31st. Thanks for all the support. I'm so excited/nervous about EVERYTHING.

Good luck with all the testing. The good news is that it all tends to go quick. Most of the tests are pretty easy (blood work, ultrasounds (u/s), semen analyst (SA) ) The HSG may not be pleasant, but it's super quick and can give you a lot of info! Totally worth it. And most people say it's just like a pap.

I have not taken Clomid, but everyone reacts differently and it's a great thing to try.

I have had positive experience with clomid. I did not have any side effects while I was on it two different times. The second time all worked! I got my big fat positive (bfp) I am currently almost 24 weeks along...it took me 8 years to get here... Just keep thinking positive...eat good...rest...drink lots of water and keep yge faith!!!
