Dear whoever is out there...

I have been trying to conceive for 4 years now, I eventually found out I have PCOS and was put on metformin to no avail,

Everyone around me seems to be falling pregnant and it is killing me!! Im trying to be supportive but it is exhausting...

I had my first IUI and clomid treatment 5 days ago and since this morning have has tender breasts and cramping on and off, I am concerned as I dont understand what is going on with my body...

Also, does anyone know if you ovulate from both sides (I did this month?) does this increase your chances for conception,

Apologies for the moan and all the questions, any help and answers would be so useful!!

Saw that you just joined the group. Welcome! I hear you on everyone else getting pregnant. You are a better person than me being suppportive! I have not been supportive of another friends pregnancy in 2 years. It is just too hard for me.

If you had your IUI 5 days ago, it could be cramping due to implantation, so that would be a good thing! Are you on progesterone? If so, that could be causing the tender breasts.

Yes, you can ovulate on both sides and yes that would increase your chanced of conception. It also increases your chances of twins!

I ovulate on both sides frequently... and when I was pregnant before I miscarried it was with triplets, so yes your chances definitely go up!

Hopefully your cramping is a good sign! Fingers crossed for you!
