Infertility is so devastating and full of disappointment. I wish you luck with your doctors appointment coming up. It can be so overwhelming, but i have heard of other ladies on here who have conceived with one tube open keep hope alive, although i know how hard that can be.

WELCOME! the hardest thing about IF is every month when we get knocked down we have to get up and do it all over again. some ppl might even say we are crazy for putting ourselves through such pain. But with every failed cycle we are always that much closer to getting a BFP! stay strong and good luck!

Hi sweetie. Welcome to the site. We have such a similar story.
6 years for us. I have PCOS and a blocked left tube also. Unfortunately I also have endometriosis AND my husband has low sperm count....we have not have success after 4 IUIs and 3 other cycles that were canceled due to the follicles growing on the left ovary. (We need right sided ovulation with a blocked left tube).

My oldest daughter is having trouble getting pregnant. And when she tried to adopt, it fell thru days before the baby was born. Anyway, I found a bunch of reference books that tell you how to overcome it and sent them to her. One book even tells you how to get the gender you want which I thought was cool. I had a lot of trouble having mine and two even has birth defects but I did lose a baby too, so I understand what it feels like and hope this will help someone.

welcome. im new too and in the last few days ive been a member, ive already started to feel less 'alone'. these women know just what you're going through, more than most people in your life. we have been TTC for about 23 months. Kricci is right that the hardest thing is being knocked down and having to get up and do it all over again. throw yourself into hobbies/projects around the house/friends, etc during the hard times. stress really does play a role in infertility (i think). prayers your way =)

A blocked tube and PCOS are like the most common thing on this site! I can't even tell you the number of women who are pregnant or new moms from this site that had the same issues. With medical technology these days, those issues are nothing! Some women even have no tubes at all from ectopic pregnancies, etc.
My point is, don't give up hope! Sure, maybe you'll have to do something extreme like IVF, but there are tons of us who have done it and can support you through whatever process you end up going through.
