hi ladies,
i am new to DS and feel like i need alittle support. My husband and i have been going through infertility issues for 20 months now for no know reason. The last 8 months we have been using various treatments. Clomid with intercourse only, clomid with IUI, then did the lap (very minimal endo) and now did injections with IUI. i am currently in my 2ww period and going crazy. we wont find out until thus 8/15 if it's successful or not. the past few days i feel very crampy like i am going to get my period and it's so disappointing. the infertility nurse that i am working with thru the clinic continues to tell me to stop worrying and not think about it. really? how can i not? i am trying to be positive because i had good results with the injections (4-5 good follicles) and my husband has a great sample as well, so all good signs. i feel like the more positive that i am the harder the fall when we get bad results. this is just such a frustrating and crappy thing to have to go through and no one else understands unless they have been through it. sooo frustrated...what have other people done to keep themselves busy?

I'm on my 2ww for my 2nd (and last) IVF. We are out of money, no embryos to freeze and this is our last chance. I feel like it is out of my hands now and my uterus needs to do its job. My beta is 8/23, and I'm already thinking of buying some HPTs.

Cramping and spotting are not necessarily bad signs - I had both with my daughter. How long has it been since your IUI? You could take a HPT. 4-5 follies - you could have twins in there! That's great.
I am staying busy, posting here, walking on the treadmill and cleaning. Try to be positive but have plan B in your back pocket. Everytime I knew what my next move was if it ended with a BFN. It helped me to cope.

Cleaning, cooking...etc....organizing your shoes...all that stuff helped me in the past, but this time, i'm driving myself nuts.!!
