I'm at church. My mom had us sit right next to my current abuser... I'm paralyzed! I'm just waiting for him to notice me, stare at me with his evil eyes. I'm waiting for him to grab at me and laugh. I'm just waiting. I'm trapped! I want to disappear, I want to get out.
You have a current abuser! Can you not discuss this with a senior church member, does your mother know you are being abused by them?
This is terrible, so raw and I feel so unhelpful. How old are you Blackrose darling? I get the impression that you are rather young, perhaps still a minor?

When I was your age I was in the hospital psych. ward and had a great doc I trusted but I just could not tell him what has happened. He asked me point blank if I was or ever have been abused. I said no. I regret the one moment I could have gotten some real help.
Please try to reach someone who will listen. I know fear is a powerful emotion that holds many of us back and I will not say it is easy nor will I pretend to know your situation. I am just trying to offer some suggestions so you might be able to be safer.
