Incest Survivors Support Group
Incest refers to any sexual activity between closely related persons that is illegal or socially taboo. Consensual adult incest is very rare. Incest between adults and prepubescent or adolescent children is a form of child sexual abuse that has been shown to be one of the most extreme forms of childhood trauma. If you or a loved one is a survivor of incest, join the group...
You are held in meditation.

When she heard my story, she said it was more than abortion, it was infanticide as the baby was born alive.
In legal terms, it made my father a criminal. If he was not dead, he could not have escaped being tried.
I think it is only intering my conscious mind now.
Same as mine...My father killed someone through neglect...
I so agree with her and just recently i too came to that realization too
.There is NO staute of limitations for murder.
She said it was homicide. No limitation on trial. My motherwas his accomplice;no wonder she is still trying to manipulate me and erase my memory to make me shut up;Somewhere, she must be shit scared , while she is in her big house.
Your family must be shit scared too that you come to your senses and prosecute them.
it took mze my whole life to be able to put words on my story;Somewhere,i feel victorious although I am in a bad shape at the moment.
I wish I could cry;I feel like a stone, very cold.Maybe, if i started crying, it would be too much.
It's OK to cry if you want to. You're safe now.
If you cried it might be too much? What do you believe would happen if you cried too much?

For me, the tears created a space to breathe. At first silent tears, then a little sob escaped and then large hick-up tears came and finally, loud, rocking, wailing.
I didn't know what these tears were about because the abuse was still buried. But, my body remembered and mourned the losses.
I was a mess that night, and incredibly tired the next day. But, I was a master at compartmentalizing and I subconsciously buried all that stuff in a part of my brain that was not connected to my workday.
We are amazing. You are amazing. Do what you must to keep going. Your strong voice is critical to survivors and their healing. Cry when you can.
