I'm in the hospital again

I've been in 9 days now. I will probably be here another week and then rehab. They say I may be in rehab 2 months. I'm sick of hospitals! I worry about rehab because of some previous experiences in rehab.

Hi Lou. So sorry you had to go to the hospital again! Do you want to share about why you are there? Do you want to share your fears about rehab? I find it helpful to share my fears and not be alone with them.

I'm sorry you are in the hospital. Perhaps the previous bad experiences in rehab will allow you to avoid pitfalls and get what you need.

Thanks to all of you. I'm still in the hospital. This stay is to repair some of the damage from my last attempt to kill myself. So far I've had 3 operations and they will be sending me to an acute rehab in the next few days for 3 weeks, then to a regular rehab.

On a side note, most nurses stations have their fridge freezer usually stocked with ice cream, just have have to ask. Powered hot chocolate mixed with a little milk almost makes a good chocolate syrup substitute. lol I had my share of lengthy hospital stays and boredom is the killer. Have you thought of writing a book? Anything to past the time helps....

I will be on a very restrictive diet :-(. I have my tablet with a bunch of books and if they let me I'll have my family bring up one of my musical instruments.

I'm at rehab. They seen very disorganized. The bed is not made, I'm just sitting in a chair. Two people have come in to see me briefly and that's it.

Are you still there, Loum50? Are there any experiences that are better than the last time you were in rehab? Are there any that are worse? Is your experience helping in anyway?

I have been doing very well in rehab and they are planning to let me go home Saturday. I want to thank everyone for caring about me and the support you have given me.
