I was triggered last night over a post on Facebook about a friend needing to testify in a 20 year old molestation case, she still doesn't know but I turned in her molester. In the comments there was an expression of pain from my friend about her molestation. My father molested her and I. It pains me so much to see she still has lasting effects from my father decades later. I wept over her pain.
I told my boyfriend of 5yrs and he gave me some advice and said he would call me later. He never called me back or answered my texts. He already knew about my abuse prior to this.
I feel really venerable now, I have no family, they are in denial. A few girlfriends but I don't feel comfortable talking about this with them.
Every time I spill my guts I get hurt again.

What he did is not your fault at all.
Have you wept over your own pain?
I'm not clear on what it is you told your boyfriend of five years...that it was your father who sexually abused you? Or that you turned your father in?
As for him not calling you, as he said he would, or not answering your texts, he is showing you who he really is...is that acceptable behavior to you?
Keep working on your healing kristykt; it takes time but is worth every minutes and every penny we spend on it.

I know how hard it is to detach from people you care about, but the ability to care about *yourself* means you have to be very picky about the people you surround yourself with. I'm sure you already learned that hard way :-(
You're a precious and valuable person who doesn't have to tolerate betrayal from anyone. Maybe it'll help you remember that by putting notes all around the house with strong self-affirmations. The way I see it, your non-supportive BF and abusive family aren't even in your league.
Fairly soon after that, he died. Thank goodness.
