Incest Survivors Support Group
Incest refers to any sexual activity between closely related persons that is illegal or socially taboo. Consensual adult incest is very rare. Incest between adults and prepubescent or adolescent children is a form of child sexual abuse that has been shown to be one of the most extreme forms of childhood trauma. If you or a loved one is a survivor of incest, join the group...

I think everyone finds it hard and maybe because we coped by putting it out of our minds at the time and hoped it would stop or there would be someone to save us. To dwell on it was to accept that was our life and that was too distressing.
I know I did not have effective therapy to deal with revealing what happened. Could you ask the therapist what has been found to be the least painful way? I find saying he used his hand to touch my breast somehow helps. Others say describing what he did to her/the girl (third person) helps. I don't think therapists who aren't victims themselves really get the humiliation we feel in having to describe our abuse. I know I could type it out, have the therapist read it silently and answer questions much easier than talk about it. Good Luck.
You can't force it, you just have to take it at a pace you can handle. I know it's frustrating, believe me. I have been frustrated for years. But it comes as you are able to trust your counsellor more and more and find more of yourself and your voice. So just try to be patient with yourself.
