I've been a vegetarian for over a year now and been on a variety of thyroid medications for over 10. My naturopath/homeopath knows that I am a vegetarian and didn't say anything about it. I know that soy is a no-no and many vegetarian options include tofu, but other than that, is it a bad idea? I've discovered recently that my doctors probably don't know nearly as much as the people on this group about the ins and outs of living with hypothyroidism. Does any one have any info? Are any of you a vegetarian?
I get the detox meds from my ND who has always told me its essential for me. The 4X a year suits my lifestyle because I am always in foreign exotic locations with my job and am exposed to lots of toxins.
I think 2X a year would be adequate for someone not in my situation.
The detox lasts one month, not amusing but necessary for me.
