I've had a TSH of ZERO. The lab freaks out, the lab techs freak out, the nurses freak out, the other doctors in my doc's practice freaks out....one of the docs even called to say, "Stop all your thyroid meds now before you have a heart attack!"

Gimme a break.... (eye roll)

My doc, after hearing lots of the stuff CD posted and having a long conversation about "suppression therapy" and unreliability of TSH in Hashi's patients... was completely FINE with me staying on my current dosage.

Good docs, shouldn't give a fig about TSH

This awesome doc even takes insurance. It's a new practice that only opened last year. The OB has hashis herself. I see a nurse pract that is just awesome- she gets everything we talk about here. It's really helped the quality of my life. Just to mention, my freeT3 is a little over the range and T4 is in the top of the range.
She says TSH means nothing because of the Armour I'm on (60 in the morning, 30 in the afternoon around 1:30pm).

Itec, sounds like you have a really good thyroid doctor! Where is this doc??!! :)

Some (ha, well most!!) docs do freak out re: TSH, but the TSH number shouldn't matter if on NDT thyroid meds like Armour or Nature-Throid. The meds suppress the TSH. Like said already, FT3 and FT4 are what truly matter.
