So, it sounds like your doc is a TSH worshipper.
I don't feel well *at all* if my TSH is at 1 or above. I can't function. What you need to focus on is Free T3 and Free T4 and those levels need to be above 50% of the range at least - and that's far from optimal for me.

If you are without symptoms and your vitals, etc are all "good", there's no reason why your doctor shouldn't let you continue on your current dose
I am aware of at least one TSH-worshiping doctor who changed his tune after reading the paper I linked above
It might help transform other doctors if they are given the opportunity to read it.
I'm confident about that because she completely dropped the ball with two Hashi's people I referred to her...one of those people was on meds, had low-range FT4/FT3 and TSH above 2
For whatever it's worth, on a "good" day, my TSH is .007-.008. It's usually less than .005.
I do always get my labs done in the afternoon because my doctor draws blood in her office and has limited morning hours
My TSH would most likely be higher if I had labs in the AM......maybe it would be .01-.02 :)
I am sooooo jealous that you have such a great doctor. I had to pay a ton of money to have one!
My TSH is a .008 and Hotze says he could give a that's fat ass. TSH is useless according to him. And he has treated over 30,000 people at his clinic.
I have not one symptom of hyper, even tho that stupid test claims I am.
