Thyroid in general runs low in all three test categories prior to any thyroid treatment and with thyroid treatment. Current thyroid treatment is 50mcg of L-thyroxine and 60 MG Armour.
Test Normal Range My Range (Lowest & Highest) Current
TSH (.500-4.700) .050-1.14 .050
Free T3 (2.77-5.27) 2.76-3.6 2.79
Free T4 (.78-2.19) .74-.94 .78
From the posts I've been reading if people have low TSH the others are high. Mine seem to all be on the low side.
I do have a pituitary prolactinoma, but have been told is not impacting my thyroid.
I've been to several DR's. Some say I have a thyroid problem and others say I do not. The DR. treating initially said I had low/normal thyroid range with all the symptoms. Some of my major symptoms improved, but not feeling 100%.
One note, when I stop Armour and only take L-thyroxine my monthly cycle goes long and I get facial breakouts. This happened two times.
Wondering if anyone had any thoughts?

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? I have just about all of the hypothyroid symptoms. I do feel some relief on thyroid meds but still have fatigue... but my hormones aren't balanced. I really don't feel well. If I rest for a few days straight I am ok for a few days and it starts all over again. I also went to a neurologist... and he said I have nacolepsy... and am doing a 24 hour sleep study to validate.
It's so hard to tell what is really going on. From the research I've done with the pituitary that does effect the endocrine system, I haven't found a Dr yet that says it's all related. It seems like with the levels that I do have secondary thyroid problems. I just can't seem to get everything regulated and they keep going lower. In the mean time, it's really impacting my quality of life!
