I have been on the same dose (200 mg)of levothyroxine for several years and I have had the same problems!! I was running 4 miles a day and not seeing any weight loss.
I went to a naturopathic doctor. Seems I have food allergies (which I thought were just minor stomach discomfort or intolerances) I had my gallbladder removed and was still having pain after eating. But besides the food allergies I had adrenal fatigue. Your adrenal glands work to help support your thyroid, so much that after a while they being to become depleted and tired. Traditional doctors dont treat tired adrenal glands but naturopathic doctors do. She put me on some herbal supplements. I feel incredible!!
I also lost 5 lbs in the first week. You may want to look for alternative support for your immune system. You may have more than just thyroid issues going on.
Some people who have Hashimoto's have normal thyroid test results. If you have Hashimoto's with normal test results but have symptoms, you may benefit from treatment.
