My endo. just prescribed Tirosint for me and when I went to pick it up apparently they filled it with the generic, Levothyroxine. Is this the same or should I have insisted on the actual Tirosint? I know the Tirosint has no fillers, and I wonder what the difference will be with this generic form? Any help here?
I think doctors make it more complicated than it has to be.
The symptoms lists are quite clear.....so is the information about the types of levels healthy people have....as well as the appropriate sizes of dose adjustments....and the time involved for levels to reflect changes in dose.
