Meanwhile - I discovered that my chair at work was causing hip problems, so I switched it for another chair and got a cushion which forces me to sit up straighter. AND - am doing modified Pigeon Pose stretches in my seat.... Seems to help.
Thank you again & again!!!
Sorry I'm just now getting to "running your numbers" - I have the flu :( But, CD, per usual, already has you covered. Here's the numbers for your FYI:
Free T4
Range: 0.800 -1.760
Result: 1.080
Percent of Range: 29.17%
Target: 1.52-1.76
Free T3
Range: 2.300 -4.200
Result: 3.000
Percent of Range: 36.84%
Target Range: 3.73 -3.82
With those numbers, I literally wouldn't be able to get out of bed. I don't know how you're functioning. Most people feel "wellish" when their Free T4 is 75-100% of range and their Free T3 is 50/60-100% of range. Yours is waaaaay low: at Free T3 37% of range and Free T4 of 29% of range.
You seriously need an increase. If you doctor won't do it...find one who will. What. An. Idiot. I'm so sorry your doctor is stupid.
Keep us posted, K? And do NOT give up!
Mom's going to be 87 in March. Her FreeT4 level?
1.58 (.82-1.76)
Looking for another doctor using the resources that cd pointed me to on this site. Oddly enough, one of the recommended doctors in my area is a rheumatologist! He is in network!!!! Going to do some serious research & then change doctors.
Please feel better, Butterfly and take care of yourself!!!! xoxo
Madness...
How are you feeling today MB????
xoxoxoxo
AND I had the freakin' flu shot! If that truly lessens the symptoms, I don't even want to contemplate just how bad this coulda been.
