I went to a new Endo. with my labs today.
TSH- 1.57 (0.40-4.50)
FT3-2.9 (2.3-4.2)= at 50%
FT4-1.3 (0.8-1.8)= at 31.6% (Thank you UG for doing the math!)
The dr. said that I am not Hypo because my ranges are normal. That I have low estrogen (FSH-18.0 (3.1-17.7). He prescribed estrogen and testosterone gel. He said that if I did not feel better at our four week follow-up appt. that he would prescribe Armour. Waiting on iron level results. Have any of you folks used estrogen and testosterone with good results? Will they help elevate my FT3/FT4?
My joints hurt so bad that all I can do is cry. I try hard to think positive, but it is so hard when I am in pain and tired all the time. You folks have been a great source of strength for me. I can't thank you enough. I would greatly appreciate any feedback.

I had terrible joint and muscle pain also, but it has gotten better. I do not know which meds have helped since I started all of them at the same time. My thyroid numbers have improved, but I do not think I am where I should be just yet.
Keep us posted would like to hear how you feel in a few weeks.
