You really need a Free T3 and an antibodies panel to tell if you have hashimotos.

Yep its hard to do move with hypo. Feels like a car engine with no oil.

1.4 0.8---1.8 is the range Free T4
2.31 .40---4.50 TSH

I have half thyroid and hashimotos today felt ok till around 12 after a walk and then felt very tired worn brain fog I hate the feeling no desire to do anything

Well that T4 is 60% of range ? That sounds good.

I get good days and bad days with hashis, trying to reduce my antibodies.

Healthy people have a TSH of around 1. So it seems that you could use an increase in your medication. Ask your doctor next time to run Free T3 labs as well.

If you're still not feeling well then you're probably not optimal yet. I agree with Dawnrose - you might try an increase

Depending on the meds you are taking right Dawnrose re tsh 1? I thought it was 1.5.

I cant get to below 2 on levothyroxine because my T4 balloons well over range trying to get there which I imagine might drive RT3.

You on the other hand have wiggle room.

thanks to everyone helping me here. I am on Levothyroxine only yes and i don't know my FreeT3 I Will have to get it. Like today i ate breakfast and went for a 3 mile walk and came home fell asleep for small amount of time and felt very tired when i got up. I also have a stress echo coming up on the 29th of this month. I can go to 88 but do you think i will get racing heart beats or other symptoms pushing me into hyper? Keep the ideas coming thanks. Stress echo? Is that a term in the US for EKG or heart test?

I did mine fine.

Id say your t3 may be low, usually is a little lower than the t4 I find. So if you can get the TSH down and T4 up just a bit, its amazing what 25mcg can do or even less. You could be just off your right balance, which with hypo is like miles away, 1mm=1km. lol.

But talk to your talk about raising first, none of us are doctors or can give medical advice. But if they dont listen, remember you can sack them.

Also keep in mind as you age you will need to keep testing tsh, t4, t3 as your metabolism slows.

i can go to this lab and get my free T3 done i think i will do it tomorrow i will pay for it myself but it will be worth it.
Yes Hiphappy the stress echo is a heart test i had afib and have to test occasionally because of the drugs on.

Hopefully when you get your levels optimized your heart issues will subside some...good idea to get Free T3 tested. You won't have the full picture until you do. Let us know how it goes!

You are up with the play on how to reduce the anti bodies so the potentially dont play games with your thyroid fluctuating?

Some people simply dont care if their thyroid is that far gone. Personally im trying to get rid of mine so I can get my meds down or off.

Even though I dont have heart issues, I hated them make me keeping inclining, i nearly died just for them to tell me my heart is in good nick. I thought about puking on them for revenge but realised thats vindictive hahaha

Huh. Your T4 is now over the range, but your T3 is only at around 30%. That seems to me that you might have a conversion problem. Have you ever had your reverse T3 tested?

Hopefully someone else on here will chime in. That might be why you're still constantly fatigued in spite of your medicine increases.

I could be wrong...I don't know a whole lot about T4 conversion issues. But I think there's another medication to help fix that if that's the issue.

If the above is correct, this is what happens to me. Conversion problem. Dont take this as medical advice. And dont rush into the "NDT" solves everything camp either. Although whilst figuring out why you arent converting well T3 can help.
