Are you on thyroid medication? If so, how long have you been on it? If you just started, it will take some time for the symptoms to fade. If you've been on it for a while and are still exhausted, get your levels rechecked; you made need an increase in medication. If all these things are normal, get your vitamin levels checked. Many people with hypothyroidism have very low vitamin D levels, which can make you tired. If that's okay, consider getting your adrenals tested! I know how you feel, I'm struggling right now too, since my levels went wonky again. Good luck

I know my thyroid is asleep. Im having a very hard time regulating the stupid thing!!!! I feel like crap. Im so tired I feel like crying.

I'm so sorry you're having trouble.

It's entirely possible to get regulated - admittedly, you might be like me and need dose adjustments every 4-5 months.

However, I find it a small price to pay for feeling good.

We shared some tips with you about the right tests to get run, how to interpret them, what you should ask your doctor to do.

I suspect that you might need some T3 - only your FreeT3 level will tell you if this is appropriate.

so sorry you're dealing with exhaustion. I sympathize, since i just had to have a medicine increase b/c i felt like i was just withering away. You just want to be normal again, be able to exercise and have fun like everybody else, i get it! I used to play basketball at the park, now i just CAN"T. I have a bad intolerance to exercise, for whatever reasons. I miss it though, and my goal is to work my way back up to being able to do that again. I hope you feel better soon!

I will ask my dr. about checking my t3. I was able to go swimming today, but I slept for 14 hours last night. I was absolutely exhausted.
