I'm not judging you...not at all. However, if you continue to have negative emotions that impact your health, perhaps counseling could benefit you. They can teach you ways to deal with stress and the emotions that impact your health. And...they *do* impact your health.

And I've been there with the "to be or not to be" thing; still have it off and on. I could try to talk you out of it but I am not trained in influencing a person on such a heavy level.
I think MButterfly is right, if we're not helping you enough please see someone that can. Do you know that my psyche (yeah, I have one) has been telling me how your brain does change and rewires as you start coming to grips with a problem you're having. It can actually do that. Amazing in a way, makes sense in another way.
Counseling isn't for crazy people...it's for people who are having great challenges in their lives and want to get better. It takes a good deal of courage to seek help.
The neural pathways normalparanot is referring to can be rerouted and new ones created simply by talking about it...learning coping mechanisms...and sometimes medication.
Many of us have been there... don't wait too long.
Losing hair, feeling like you are about to shoot thru your own skin like something out of Alien, and hurting all over is definitely thyroid - hypo to be exact.
The dosage increase *can* make you feel like you're about to go into orbit...but it will pass with time.
