Coconut oil

Hi friends,

Is anyone on coconut oil? Am told it increases rate of metabolism?

Looking for testimonies.

I see a naturopath doctor for my thyroid and he has converted me to a gluten free/paleo diet. He is a huge advocate of coconut oil, as it's one of the healthiest fats out there. I cook nearly everything with it now and add it to tea, etc. I even use it on my skin. It's great stuff.

Coconut oil is chock full of medium chain fatty acids. These are fats that the body will convert directly to energy and does not get stored :)

Coconut oil is AWESOME stuff! I even give it to my Great Dane.

It is known to have anti inflammatory properties and can reduce allergies, is great for the hair and skin as well as digestion.
