Does anyone else have underarm pain? I can't figure out for the life of me where all these problems have come from. Palpitations/adrenalin rush (not sure which it is). Its all about to drive me insane

Thanks all. Helerown, the big hold up is my TSH is always around 1.4 to 1.5. So because of that my doc thinks all is well with my thyroid and my free T4 of .9 is "normal for me" even though it might not be normal for someone else. I'm so tired of feeling so bad I don't know how much more I can take. Not to mention all the insurance deductibles and co pays are costing my wife and I a fortune. I tell my doc every time that I KNOW something is wrong with me and he assures me that he will figure it out.

Sorry I'm a bit late coming to the un-party. You've been given excellent advice already.

Your doctor is wasting your money by running countless other tests when it's clear he's missing your obvious hypothyroidism.

It can take YEARS for TSH to rise above range - if it ever does. In the meantime, the patient suffers needlessly.

You really need to get treatment.

Please try one of the doctors on the various recommendation lists that were shared with you.

It's worth every effort.

If it helps any, my TSH is now in normal range, but not normal for me. I have a long ways to go, as you saw in my other post my symptoms are still there. At one time I had over 40 debilitating symptoms so I've come a long way. Luckily my ND lets me adjust my dose based on my symptoms and I'm confident you can a doctor who will let you do the same. You have many text book hypo symptoms and there are doctors out there that do treat based on symptoms. Don't give up, and definitely don't continue treating with your current doctor, he is wasting your time and money and your health.

I'm going to Hotze next month. Like you, I've wasted enough time and money. My TSH is 0.008 right now, and they will treat me. My TSH was 1.4 before I started meds. My frees were always at the bottom of the range.
