Hypochondria Support Group
Hypochondria refers to excessive worry about having a serious illness. Hypochondria is often characterized by fears that minor bodily symptoms may indicate a serious illness, constant self-examination and self-diagnosis, and a preoccupation with one's body. Many individuals with hypochondriasis express doubt and disbelief in the doctors' diagnosis.
I don't know if this is a palpitaion or not. My heart keeps feeling like it's beating that hard my whole body shakes and it sometimes flutters. It keeps doing this at night time as well when i am in bed relaxing and it makes me feel anxious and also when i am relaxing my body has random muscle twitches. Are all these with anxiety?

Yes its very common with anxiety but you should still see a Dr to ease your mind. If u already have recently and all is normal then try to distact yourself for a bit. Also takes slow deep abdominal breaths and tell yourself you're only anxious and these feelings will pass.picture every muscle in your body from head to toe melting and the anxiety slipping away

I have just been to see my gp and i have to go back at 4.50pm for an ecg and if this is normal then i am being refered for a 24 hr monitor. She has gave me some tablets called nifedipine.

yes 100%. It may feel like your heart is "fluttering" or "skipping a beat", or sometimes like it's just pounding super hard. This is caused from the rush of adrenaline that is dumped into our bodies when we are anxious--whether concsiously or subconcsiously. I promise you, I was watching a movie one night and BAM! I thought my heart was going to leap out of my chest!!! EKG done...anxiety...just anxiety. Anxiety is notorious for causing heart palpitations...worrying makes it worse, so try deep breathing...seriously, it works.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
