Hypochondria Support Group
Hypochondria refers to excessive worry about having a serious illness. Hypochondria is often characterized by fears that minor bodily symptoms may indicate a serious illness, constant self-examination and self-diagnosis, and a preoccupation with one's body. Many individuals with hypochondriasis express doubt and disbelief in the doctors' diagnosis.
i'm no doctor but it sounds like it could be acid reflux. I'd reccomend you see your physician.
I agree with Morgan, it sounds like reflux. I had similar issues a few weeks back, more specifically went I bent over. Also had bad indigestion etc. I saw doctor and he checked few things like coeliac disease (which was negative) and am waiting for the results of a H Pylori breath test for stomach ulcer. I was really stressed about it but the funny thing is since I got the test out of the way and decided not to worry any more til I got results back, my symptoms have disappeared!! Just shows how powerful the mind is! If it persists, see your GP. Apparently bad digestion and similar complaints can be caused / made worse by stress or anxiety. I hope you feel better soon. AndyV
