Anyway he said my thyroid uptake and scan was normal (kind of). The 6 hour was completely within range 20.4 (15.2-30.4) but the 24 hr one was high normal 29.3 (15.2-30.4) so he thinks I will have full blown hyperthyroidism in less than a year. Of course it could be off because of diet or excerise (I have no clue if that is true or not) but this is his opinion.
So his plan is to wait three months and redo lab work and see where I fall. I asked about FT4 and FT3 and he said those aren't necessary and he won't run those. :-/
But he was so kind as to remind me that I really need to lose weight because when they do start treating me I will gain weight. I very politely reminded him that was the whole reason my thyroid was ever checked in the first place was because I could not lose weight at all. Despite an hour of cardio and a 1200 calorie/day diet, 7 days a week for a year now I have only lost 5 lbs. He said "you just need to give it more time, some people need more time before weight loss kicks in" I said well if you want to get real picky I've been doing this for about 14 years but you are right year 15 might be the lucky number. I know that wasn't very nice but it slipped out before I could stop it.
So I guess it is three more months of waiting and then we go from there. Good thing I don't have any symptoms of this condition!

As I have mentioned before from your last thread, if you are able to get your doctor to order the TSI and the TRAb antibodies tests as these determines whether one has Graves' Disease or not.
