Has anyone had issues with Tapazole?

I started taking 20mg (10 in the morning,10 at night) last Tues. I am not on a betablocker. My heart rate went up since I started taking it and yesterday the blood pressure shot way up. I take a water pill for blood pressure and have for years. Last night after coming home from watching the fire works it was 161/91 which it hasn't been in years.
Could it be med related?

Ok - according to the Dr all of this is "normal" with the meds. Even
the weakness, shakiness and numbness in the fingers - I find all
of that hard to believe - I guess because I wasn't symptomatic until
starting the meds other than feeling really wired. So appreciate anyone else that has "normal" things going on - feeling pretty alone
right now.

I have had a headache since I started the tapazole, but not sure if this is due to beta blockers side effect. I had been on the bb for a week before I started tapazole without a headache. My heart rate is still high though, around 85 bpm. Not sure what my bp is, cindeeh.
