Hyperhidrosis Support Group
Primary hyperhidrosis is the condition characterized by abnormally increased perspiration, in excess of that required for regulation of body temperature. Some patients afflicted with the condition experience a distinct reduction in the quality of life. Sufferers feel at a loss of control because perspiration takes place independent of temperature and emotional state.
If anyone is curious the pills I am taking are Jamieson Calcium Magnesium + zinc. You can buy magnesium supplements alone, but I read that calcium helps the body absorb it more. Right now I am only taking one a day, because as a said above, they do irritate my stomach a bit, but hopefully my body gets used to them soon and I can increase the dosage.
Today it was pretty warm out and I wore a sweater to school. I had to walk to the other side of my university campus, and normally this would make me absolutely soaked with sweat, but I was fine except for a little tiny tiny bit of sweat on my neck. I am just amazed at how much I have improved in such a short amount of time - I wish I had known about this years ago! I hope that it also works for all of you!
Lately, I began to get into essential oils and decided to look up mixtures to help with sweat. Then I ran into several articles including this post of other natural remedies. Doing my research, it would seem magnesium appears to help most with the problem. Then I read taking it with calcium may help. Therefore, I decided to buy to go shopping. I wanted a vitamin that includes a decent amount of magnesium since I ran into others with loads of calcium and no more than 200 mg magnesium. So I went with Nature's Bounty Calcium, Magnesium Zinc, with Vitamin D3. It has 1000 mg of calcium, 400 mg of magnesium, 25 mg of zinc, and 15 mcg of vitamin D3. I decided to take Robinol still since I do not know if it would work.
I've been taking these tablets 1 per day, and it only been 3 days, and I've noticed a huge difference! I decided to eat my spicy Indian food usual and did not have any embarrassing sweat. I typically have to wear gripping socks while doing yoga since my feet would slide everywhere in sweat. I don't have to anymore! Also, after workouts, my groin area would sweat. No sweat!
So back to why I am pissed. I often donate to the Hyperhidrosis Society thinking we are far behind with cures etc. Honestly, think magnesium is critical. Also read that sage tablets work as well. I wonder if I even needed the surgery! In one week I will slowly wean myself off Robinol and maybe take 2 per day of CMZ. I'm a very happy gal!
Could you kindly provide the pills that you have used to cure the excessive sweating from head and face.
I have been suffering same since 1 months.
