How does everybody feel?

I had Endoscopic third ventriculostomy back in September and still don't feel that great. I still get head aches. I can especially tell when it is going to rain. I still find that small areas like the break room at work or restaurants are very loud and I can't stay very long at all.
I find myself happy that I am alive yet I'm depressed that I had to go through such an ordeal. Am I crazy?
I can only complain to my poor wife so much so I figured I would complain here.

I thank god everyday for my wife and family for the support that I got throughout the whole ordeal.

I have Hydrocephalus too. I understand what ur going through. I don't have the shunt just yet. I too get major headAches. I was diagnosed last year. When I'm at work or church where there's loud noise I have the urge to get up and go outside. My headaches will happen any time of the day. I understand your pain. I HOPE THEY FIND A CURE FOR HYDROCEPHALUS!!!

Ya, my worst Is in the office or out to eat. Since the surgery it's been somewhat better. I'm goin for an MRI at the end of the month to see what's going on. My poor wife still has to listen to me complain. I almost hate when she asks me how I'm feeling because I have to complain so much that sh must really get sick of it. Does that sound right?

No, I feel the same way. Nobody understands how it feels except actual hydro victims. I only get eye aches, but the dr says thats normal. (I just got mine three weeks ago)
PS How can you tell if its going to rain?
PPS Good luck with this all. Know you are not crazy and there are other victims who feel the same way. It will get better!!
