I was diagnosed with HPV in April of 2008. After juggling my monthly visit and my appointments for 5 months, I was finally able to be seen by a doctor. In September 2008 a biopsy was preformed but I NEVER once recieved any results. I called the clinic and they told me they\'d send it though mail, it never came. They gave me a card with a lab number on it and told me to call there but there was NO results under my name. So here it is May 2009 and Ive only had 1 Gardasil shot which was back in September.Last week I noticed a lump on my rectum which I thought was a spider bite. I put drawing salve on it but it didnt pop or burst.. My first though was that my tumor is spreading. But it just went away. Im broke, and its almost impossible for me to pay for this shot or any other medical treatment. Im still paying for the biopsy and additional tests from before. Should I take legal action which would cost more money, or what? I dont know what else to do.
The first thing you need to do is follow up regarding the lab results. Make an appointment with your doctor for a follow up check up and your lab results should be in your file at the doctor's office. You should also complete the series of Gardisil shots since you will need two more in order to complete the vaccinatin process.
