So after my skin being grey and nasty I started to peel and blister... so now its pink white and raw. It hurts! I had the treatment done on Saturday and I see less warts but some are still there. The nurse said they would take about a week and I may need a second treatment but probably not. With the way my skin is reacting I need it to heel first. I am NOT willing for them to put ACID on raw skin... I wonder if it matter iF I wait 2 weeks vs one. Also I bought tea tree oil and aloe vera. Since I could not find good directions online of how to apply it or make a solution I first applied the tea tree oil with a cotton ball. it stung a big but I endured. Then I decided to put on Aloe vera gel. That's when it stung even more.

How have your experiences been with Acids, at home tea tree oil remedies and vitamins? I would love to get tips and pointers as well as vitamin recommendations. I am going to fight this thing and love me :)

hey

i burned my gw too, used an acid called Wart Magic i had to use a ear bud to burn them off and i was very carefull with the procedure coz its burns as well i dont know if you can find it where you are.

I've had HCA or TCA...whatever applied twice. I was pretty concerned with how things looked during the healing process. It just worked itself out. It was hideous.

I am debating whether to go back... yeah everything looks a mess down there. Thank goodness it was just that area. Did you do it the following week or did you wait a bit before the second treatment?

I think some fairly significant time had passed. I went in to the urologist and he treated the top. I went back for a follow-up just to see if the warts were still there and he saw an area on the underside of my penis that he didn't like. To answer your question, there could have been several months between treatments. I'm inclined to say allowing that much time between treatments isn't necessary, but am not sure.

I saw a new one that got bigger but I am debating on whether to wait another week or go tomorrow. My wart looked weird though. They were these little "white heads that stuck out a bit. They freaked me out but weren't like the picture google show which are terrifying. I think I am going to go in and just be safe. I called the clinic today to ask if I needed a follow up and the lady in turn asked me if I thought I needed one... mind you they specialize in this...

I told her I just wanted them to take a look, see if I can healing properly and evaluate whether I needed one or not. I think i am just going to in and endure the pain of a second treatment... I just wish I could find a good website with instructions on how to do it at home with tea tree oil. I have been applying it this week twice a day and all I feel is burning.

I'm so glad that someone else is going through the acid treatment :) I'm pretty stressed out right now, because it just feels and looks awful down there. My main concern is some swelling that I think I've experienced as a result of the acid. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a side effect. A large bump/swelling has formed beside the place where acid was administered on a gw. I was thinking the acid may've spread and caused inflammation? I'm not too sure, though, and the worrier in me thinks it might be a massive wart!! Did you experience anything like this, glaze? I had two patches, and the gw came off one of them (it's now red and raw and really really sore). The gws came off the other patch as well, but now this swelling has formed. Nightmare!

Dear Puella,

Not to worry! I am going to tell you a little bit about what my doc told me at my last visit (which was yesterday, 1 week after they administered the acid treatment). I had similar sympotoms to you and thought it maybe getting infected. I decided to go in and have them take a look and also get a few that were missed the first time. First the Doc told me he could not treat the raw areas. Second, he gave me some tips. After having this treatment you should be showering 2 times a days to keep the area clean (nothing fancy just good soap or a feminine cleanser). Strangely enough he also recomended I take baths with a little epson salt. He said that would help me heal also. Don't stress and don't worry otherwise you will make yourself sick. He told me to come back in two weeks and he'd check the area out again. That also give my skin time to heal and see if I needed still another treatment.

Glaze - thanks for replying! That advice is really comforting and makes complete sense. I actually have an appointment scheduled for 2 weeks from now, so that should give me time to heal (had my treatment on tuesday). Good luck to you!

:) Good luck to you! Keep with a healthy lifestyle. Try to minimize drinking and zero smoking. If you can start exercising and eating healthier. You'll feel great and start looking better too :)

I used apple cider vinegar to get rid of my warts. But it really was painful and I stung a lot! I tried enduring it for 3 days but I really can't take it. that's when I switched to Oxyfend cream. Comparing acid to cream, cream is like the oasis. But it's as effective as the acv. I believe in ACV. It's just that it's not my type of treatment.

It's going to look terrible down there after the acid treatment. Just keep that in mind. I would have almost said mine was festering. lol

I'm not sure about the whiteheads or whatever. I've seen those, but they don't hang around. They're a little alarming, but I don't think my case is related to the warts.
