Life shouldn't be any different now! I know at first, I felt helpless and alone. But you should realize that this little nuisance shouldn't keep you down because in 70% of victims it goes away within a year and 95% of the people who have it will go away in 2 years (I got these numbers from a posting on this forum).
If you don't mind me asking, did a doctor diagnose you? Did they offer any sort of treatment? There are several ways to get rid of the warts, despite the fact that you may have a break out again. But the sooner you notice a wart, the easier the removal is at a doctor's office. It's a pain to always be monitoring yourself, but if you stay on top of things you can help your body beat this virus.
One way to hurry you body into "curing" itself of the virus is to improve your immune system. Working out more, eating better, even taking vitamin supplements will help. Our bodies are powerful and more you build up your immune system, the more likely it will wipe this virus out of you.
If you need anything else, know we are here for you!
This forum do help me a lot, especially when you guys telling me not to give up as this virus may go away within a year or two... crossing my finger as my gf is under treatment (acid treatment with Gynae) to remove it. I was once almost kill myself...
On Jan i noticed a bump on my foreskin where my Gynae confirmed it is a GW, he suggested on acid treatment and circumsization. I asked for circumsization as in frustration, now it almost 3 months where i don't face any outbreak.
