Grr... they keep showing up.

So.. first one was early april... got that taken care of begining of May... then about 2 weeks later the little buggers showed up .... got them taken care of and now more...

I am hoping that this is gonna come to an end soon... and that my body will give it the middle finger :)

You will fight it, stay healthy and positive. The more bothered by it you are, the more they will be back to haunt you. The best way is to live your life as though you didn't have them. At least that's my plan right now. Of course always be aware and check for them once every 2 weeks or so, quit smoking and drinking if you do either.

I've had it for 2 years, I wanna beat this thing!

Just out of curiosity, what is the benefit of not drinking? Honestly, it's the only thing that relaxes me anymore.

I'd think that alcohol suppresses some of the more positive ummm...cells and etc in the body. That might be one reason why. I too, enjoy drinking, but after I quit, I seem to have lesser warts. Maybe it's a psychological thing but hey, drinking is a waste of my money so I'm kinda saving money (but also spending it on treatment so...nay)

But you could try asking the doctor about it. They might know more.

I don't drink and gave up smoking almost 3 years ago.. I exercise regularly.. and take my vitamins... I just need to control my food. I can not wait for the day when I am clear of this mess.

Interesting facts from the CDC on HPV related cancers... check out the last one: Other cancers that can be caused by HPV are less common than cervical cancer. Each year in the U.S., there are about:

3,700 women who get vulvar cancer
1,000 women who get vaginal cancer
1,000 men who get penile cancer
2,700 women and 1,700 men who get anal cancer
2,300 women and 9,000 men who get head and neck cancers. [Note: although HPV is associated with some of head and neck cancers, most of these cancers are related to smoking and heavy drinking.]

yeah i understand why you wouldnt want to drink heavily. but a glass or two of wine or beer everyday actually does have health benefits (antioxidants in red wine, B vitamins in beer). i don't think there's any reason for me not to have a glass or two of wine every night to help me relax a litte :-)

I believe a glass of wine or two would be a great addition to anyones diet... now 4 or 6 glasses of wine... hmmm lol :)
