Okay, hi folks, I haven't posted in about 6 months... and this time I would like the post to be encouraging... I was diagnosed with HPV in early april 2011, had two break outs within the next few months. I went through the emotional drama that every one goes through while dealing with an incurable virus. the embarressing moments, the feeling of why me, the idea that wow now I have to disclose this, HOW do I? I was already self concious of my body, already doubting my ability to land a husband, be who i wanted to be, and then I get the diagnoses that my partners who said they were clean lied.
That was in April, I went through the uphills battle of accepting it. I met an amazing person who I deemed my life coach, Michael. I did not tell him that I had this, but I told him that I wanted to lose about 70 lbs. That was July 4, and I started with him, a new meal plan, a new gym routine plan, a new me. I need to be healthy, get my immune system up, break the hold that HPV had on me.
The first month was hard, but I lost 20lbs.. the second about 15... Overall,I have lost 105 lbs to date and I have 30 more to go. I am hitting 28 years old tomorrow, and yes, HPV sucks, and yes I have to disclose it, but I truely think that it has given me the push to remind me that I am STRONGER than what I believe, that I can beat this, and that I will survive because I have not come this far to fail at anything... I have been HPV clean for 6 months now... I am getting the body that I have always wanted, doing what I love working out in the gym and am feeling amazing.
I have said this before, "It is what it is, I have HPV, but HPV does not and will not ever have me..."

I try to keep a positive mindset and look at things this way as well, but for someone who has not seen fruit from their labor/hardships it can become frustrating. thank you from reminding us to hang in there and persevere. what a lonely road it is though
