I have anal warts for the last 10 months my GP tried freezing them with liquid nitrogen but he said after 3 times it was not working for me. I am to see a dermatologist in May long time to wait but not sure if that is the right doctor to see? Anyone had any other treatments and what they did to remove your anal warts inside? Did you see a dermatologist or a specialist? As well what worked the best and what about pain doing the treatments or going to the washroom? I am so scared of this. Or should I just wait and see and do nothing and hope in 2 years they go away? As I read (Studies show that 90% of individuals are able to clear HPV when exposed in 2 years.) I eat OK I'm in good shape I don't smoke or drink very much I think my immune system is working good I get a cold once a year. Any help will be good to know what way I should go as I feel doctors don't all ways tell you every thing that's involved in the treatments.

I've only had them treated on the outside on the anus, not internally. Laser surgery does get rid of them right away and if I did have them internally, I would probably get them lasered.

See a specialist that specializes in rectal surgery. I was referred by my primary and was wonderful. My warts were inside my rectum and Electricity was used to remove many and clusters. and had sutures . Had no idea I had HPV and no symptoms until a routine colonoscopy was done. Overall not much problem other than local anesthesia , and muscle pain from positioning when surgery was performed. Day 3 and doing good. Laser is an option, my Doc, used electricity to burn off. Don't fool around, find a specialist in anal wart removal. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
