You wouldn't even know you had hpv, would you? So don't let it rule your life, many people have it and don't even know and having hpv doesn't mean you are promiscuos. I'm 49 and only two sexual partners in my life and found out last month I have hpv, I'd never had any symptoms or warts before. I don't blame my actual partner, he didn't even know because his doctor didn't even bother to explain what the wart was when he had it years before he met me.
