Dear friends,
My gf's warts are getting way better after the acid treatment, but now she have only 2 warts remaining where my gynae advice us to monitor the warts as he claim my gf's body are now fighting off the virus since the rest are gone (he refuse to proceed with the acid treatment anymore, he fixed next appointment in 2months time)
my question is:
1) Should I follow my gynae's advice by monitor the warts to go by itself or should I get an 2nd opinion? (I have a great gynae where he behave more like a friend by providing moral support and keep telling us this is common as chicken pox)
2) Can the remaining warts go by itself especially most of it are gone due to the acid treatment?
3)Can i perform oral sex on my gf as I'm worried to get warts in my mouth. (I don't want to hurt my gf by showing that I behave differently after this hpv dilemma, I love her to the fullest)
4)Can we have a normal lifestyle as I always think that this virus make us different than others.
I know it kinda a lot what I'm looking for but, I need your support and advice to be alive. Sometime, I just wish God will take us both from facing this as we need not to suffer...

I have had 2 outbreaks and both went away by themselves it can take awhile but have her take vitamins and try to stay as healthy as possible to boost her immune system. Getting hpv in the mouth is very rary my husband has gone done that and he does not have it in his mouth but I also didnt' let him do it when I had an outbreak as I was self concious and we don't know 100 percent if he has it but I have done oral on him and I do not have it in my mouth u can look up different thing to put in between ur mouth and her vagina if u r worried i think one website said u can use seran wrap and u can cut a condom and use it never tried it. And u can def have a normal lifestyle me and my husband will celebrate our 3rd anneversary on June 7th and we have 2 wonderful children we live life just like every other american. Don't let the hpv run ur life its just something u have to deal with and keep going. And tell her not to stress or it can cause and outbreak or make one last longer. Most of the time I actually forget I have it. Just be very supportive of her especially when she goes to the doc I have had cryosurgery which is freezing of either warts or dysplasia it hurts but I felt so much better since my husband was there holding my hand. It makes a huge diff when u have somebody there. Good luck to both of u and ya'll can have a perfect life together just remeber the hpv does not define who u r.

mhorst678, within what period of time did you have the two outbreaks? Did pregnancy contribute at all?

I had my first outbreak when I was pregnant and thats how I found out and it went away a few months after I had my daughter that was 2005 I had my second outbreak at the end of 2009 which was months after I had my son. Pregnancy can make u have an outbreak due to ur body going through changes but u don't always. I think stress brought on my second one having 2 kids at home and no sleep.
