Well, I am surprised at the turn my life has taken, here at 3 years, 8 months. I am "seeing" a widower who is a member of my church. I met him a year ago at a grief group our church put together for persons with recent losses. Nothing happened for about 6 months. I didn't really think about it. He is almost 4 years older than I am. Then, he started sitting on my pew at church. Then he asked me if I wanted to eat dinner out with him after church. And it went on from there........very slowly. It was going to be "friendship only".

Well, time has passed and our friendship has been very, very good. But last Sunday after church as we walked out of the building and started down the sidewalk, he gently reached over and took my hand loosely and we walked on together holding hands gently. It was very sweet.

I am amazed. I said NEVER would I want to date again. But I have found this wonderful (older) gentleman who likes me, has lots of energy, and is very giving. I was so hesitant at first. I never thought I could be touched by another man. Yet, it happened. I can't believe it! Looks like a "God thing" here, folks. Thanks for listening!!
