Well Sue and have been dating for 6 months and we are really happy and very close now (although neither of us is ready to remarry just yet).

She has been staying here 2 or 3 days a week for the last couple of months and we were talking about her moving in at the end of the summer. She currently has a three bedroom condo and, new twist, both of her roommates just gave notice. It usually takes a month or two to find a new roommate so instead we are moving up the date to July 1st.

I am happy and excited but with a little bit of trepidation. I know there will some adjustments to living 24/7 with someone and I will need to make some changes around the house to "welcome" her. I don't have any particular question (yet!) but welcome any advice you want to offer (including "you idiot!").

LOL...I had to chuckle over the deciding whose to keep & whose to send to Goodwill...I remember when Joe & I decided it was time for him to move here, and he was going through his stuff...he'd send an email asking "do you have a (whatever) ? " If I answered NO, he'd reply back with "You do now"...if I answered YES, he'd ask "how long have you had it?" or "how well does it work?" ...if mine was newer or worked better, he got rid of his, if his was newer or better, he'd say "get ready to get rid of it when I get there"...what fun!...Sounds like things are going quite well...and I agree with Vicki (yet again...lol...) You're idea to create a space for Sue is very sweet and considerate, and she is a very blessed lady to have you....Blessings & Joy to you both...

Well I don't have much to add to what has been said, except to offer you my congratulations again. And I will echo the praise and encouragement for your choice to make a music room for Sue is AWESOME!! Looks like you guys are working together to create a home full of LOVE!!
