HOPEFUL HEARTS...LIVING AGAIN AFTER THE LOSS Community Group
We are a group of people who have grieved the loss of a spouse, partner, or lover and are searching for a life without our mate. Some looking for their own identity as an individual or finding a life for themself. Some looking for companionship or a serious relationship with someone new. And some just feeling lost and unsure. We offer encouragement, support and virtual...

be honest, even if it might hurt, it's better to know than not know for sure what the other is thinking and making a mountain out of a mole hill.....
be truthful, (if you are having a bad day tell her and she should tell you if she is),
try not to take words or actions wrong (if something bothers either of you, talk to the other one),
don't push the other one to tell/talk about their feelings, they'll do it when they are ready and then once they do...don't over-react or let it hurt you or her.
try not to take anything said or done too personally ...
and remember, after all we're only human, we all make mistakes, ask for understanding, life is short so all of us need to live it to the fullest.
Not saying it will be easy, that the two of you will get along all the time but with love and understanding, you'll have a long and happy life....this is what bigbear and I tried to do with each other...hope this helps, but after all, this is only my opinion, it worked for us....hugs, Sandi
We are about half way through the “move”, got about half of her things over here. We are going through the sorting and deciding. It’s an interesting process, there are times that we look and say “We don’t need two of these” and then decide who’s to keep and who’s goes to Goodwill.
One of the things I decided to do is to clear out the downstairs bedroom and turn it into a music room for Sue (she is a singer and music teacher). Since she is moving into my place I wanted her to have some space that was just hers, a “girl cave” so to speak.
I will keep you all posted on progress and thanks again.
