Homeschooling Support Group
This community is dedicated to parents, educators, and students involved with home schooling. Home schooling - also called home education or home school - is the education of children at home, typically by parents or guardians, rather than in a public or private school. If you have chosen to provide education to your children at home, join the group and get support.

Some people do public school online and do their work from home through a service like K12 or Connections Academy. They think of this as homeschooling because they do most of the work at home. These systems work well for many people.
Another option is where a parent or a teacher paid by your parent takes over your education at home and there are special laws and rules that apply to that. Also, they have to make lesson plans like a regular teacher, keep track of attendance, give you assignments and grade them. So you can't actually do that one yourself, but if one of your parents or a guardian is interested there are organizations where they can find out what the laws are in your state that govern this. there are websites like Discovery K12 (not the same as K12) and MobyMax that try and make the lesson part of this pretty easy.
No matter which works for you, you can also learn a lot by reading books. Your local public library is one good resource there.
Best wishes, and feel free to ask questions....
