Homeschooling Support Group
This community is dedicated to parents, educators, and students involved with home schooling. Home schooling - also called home education or home school - is the education of children at home, typically by parents or guardians, rather than in a public or private school. If you have chosen to provide education to your children at home, join the group and get support.

I'm also not sure I understand your whole situation, do your children attend a charter school and you're looking to get away from it? Or, do your children attend a " charter School " remotely and you're having to lecture them and you want something less time consuming than lecturing four kids in seven subjects each?
Since I'm not exactly sure what your asking here's some general info.
My experience is with in-person homeschooling. I think a lot of people who do in person homeschooling would probably choose to use unit studies if they were trying to homeschool four children at a time, especially if the children were either very young, their ages covered a broad range, or one or more of them needed heavily Hands-On instruction.
If your children are old enough to sit in front of a screen for a large portion of the school day and the check off assignments or work by a prearranged schedule then maybe something virtual where you don't have to teach them would work for you as well. Also it is possible to purchase paper-based curriculums, you could do that for each child. That's the workbook based kind where they read a selection and then answer questions about it.
Most states are signed up for something called K-12, or something similar, where the child can actually do public school at home, so that might be an option for you.
There is a website called discoveryk12, which is not associated with the aforementioned k-12. Discoveryk12 is not necessarily aligned with common core or national standards (at least last I heard it wasn't). But it can be used for free, though it also has a paid option.
But...in many cases homeschooling will take more time and effort than anything else.
If you have more specific questions, please feel free to post them here or message me I'm happy to answer. I just wasn't really sure what information you were trying to get.
wishing you peace and much success.
I also search for all kinds of help articles online and it also helps that I myself was a teacher so it might be easier for me some days other days it's not so easy. Keeping them interested is also a challenge.
