the choices she made for her children are more complicated to discuss.
as far as encouraging others to deny treatment, i think there's plenty of room for people to raise questions, and i think that's all any intelligent person would realize she was doing when she wrote that book. that same intelligent person i'd hope would swallow the pride of "doctors don't know it all so i'm not taking pills" and just take them regardless of whether they thought it was poison or not. either way, if you're getting sick and leaning toward death, you can only get better by taking them.
Go to Change.org and hear other stories about HIV+'s who are fine and do not take the antiretroviral meds. As stated before, my CD4's are 111 and viral load is 2.8 million. I can assure you folks, that I am doing well, in fact, even better without the antiretrovirals damaging my immune system. I don't believ that HIV causes AIDS or anything else for that matter. There is a better way to treat numersous immune problems, which I have had many in the past, and that is with low dose naltrexone. I would encourage the readers to read about it and comment on change.org under ldn.
