I have been taking Stribild for the last 8 months, and I've had really zero side-effects with it. Previously I was taking Atripla which was awful.
My Doc told me that my last labs indicated a slightly higher than normal
Creatinine level that could be due to Tenofovir which is part of Stribild.
Increased Creatinine Levels in the blood are caused by the Kidneys not filtrating like they're supposed to. Tenofovir has been tested to cause problems in the kidneys of some HIV patients.
So rather than cause permanent Kidney damage, my Doctor indicates that I may need to switch to Tivicay (dolutegravir) with Epzicom.
I would like to hear about people's experiences with this:
Tivicay (dolutegravir) with Epzicom 2-pill-a-day regimin.
What are the bad side effects?

I have been on Tivicay since last October with NO side effects. actually my doctor had me on tivicay and truvada, one pill of each daily. Last Dr. visit my viral load was undetectable. Feel better than I did before I was diagnosed.

Greetings Ninja. I switched from Atripla to the same regimen that "South" is on, that is, Truvada & Tivicay once a day back in November of last year. Right off the bat the side effects pretty much disappeared. No more vivid dreams, anxiety, and who knows what else Atripla was doing to me. Now, I sleep much better, feel much better and as of my most recent doctors appointment I am back to undetectable. Also, my T-cells are higher than they've ever been at 1000+. My best guess is that it's the Tivicay that's doing it. My doctor praises it and I have read some great articles about it. I'm no doctor, but I think it might be worth considering. Good luck, and be sure to keep us updated on what you decided.
