Anti-Depressants

Hello Everyone,
As part of my current treatment-Norvir,Truvada,Reyataz,Gabapentin,and Bactrum, I have also been on a few different anti-depressants as well. I'm currently taking Cymbalta, and honestly don't feel like I think I should. I'm not sure what I should be expecting these to do, I was told I shouldn't get angry easily and things should roll off, but alot of the time they don't. I still feel anxious at times too. Call me lucky but I seem to end up with some side effect from them all; sweating, ED, you name it. Any comments, thoughts?

ED seems to be a side effect of many, gosh I just learned today from a nurse friend of mine that in today's crazy world something like 90% of people (Americans) are on some anti-depressants! My physiologist (sp?) thinks maybe I should be too but the psychiatrist I was going to go see P/O'd me so much I decided......................................NO

Partner is crazy and AIDS but really nothing worked for him either, just a side note, I had a teacher who worked in a psych hospital for ten years and she swears (other than making one a zombie), she has NEVER seen any help from them

DOWN WITH CYMBALTA!!! I didn't take it for very long. It made me SUPER ANTSY! I guess it's supposed to help you "get up and go?" I dunno. I feel your pain, tho. I hate that stuff. I had my doctor switch me to zoloft, which is definitely better feeling than cymbalta.

Do you take your Gabapentin at night? Or throughout the day? I wonder if that has anything to do with your side effects, too. I'm on Gabapentin as well, and I can only take it right before bed, otherwise it messes with my other stuff. Makes me drowsy etc

I take the Gabapentin three times a day-waking,lunchtime and at bedtime. Zoloft was the first AD they tried on me and that did absolutely nothing. This is about the fourth AD I've been on, and like I say i don't know if I expect more than they can do or what.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
