By having meat in your diet, you kill both of those birds with one stone. However, all is not golden. Unfortunately farm animals are being fed on exclusively grain diets which are high in inflammatory Omega-6 fatty acids. So meats tend to be more inflammatory now than your grandfather's meat used to be. Also people frequently over consume meats these days too which just makes the problem even worse.
A carefully constructed diet can tip toe around these nutritional mine fields, but it's not easy.
I was comparing the world meat consumption map with the world breast cancer map. Its almost a perfect match. Made me wonder if the hormones they use to raise animals faster induce tumor growth.
