recheck in 3 months. Do not add more meds if you can avoid it. Your numbers are really not terrible. Just need a little adjusting.
Good luck
key.
Thanks for the advise. But still i am not having any medicine for the lowering the cholesterol.
Do u suggest me of not than wht kind of side effects using these medicines
Your numbers are not far from mine, except my doctor will not test for VLDL, so I have no idea what that number is. My triglycerides are lower than yours, at least based on my last test a few months ago. My numbers always vary all over the place and I have told my doctor that the lab just uses a "random number generator" to generate my reports. (I keep an EXCEL database of all my lab tests since 2001, and a random number generator is very believable!) Actually, a couple years ago, we met a nero doctor on a cruise ship that just happen to sit next to us during dinner and he mentioned that 1/3 of all lab tests are incorrect. That was encouraging and believable (he had no reason, under the circumstances, to not tell the truth).
Anyway, my thoughts on your numbers are; 1) do not pay any attention to the total cholesterol number, which is useless unless it is over 280-300. 2) Try to reduce the trig's by cutting sugar/carbs as "missd12932" mentioned.
HDL is a tough nut to crack. The big drug companies have not figured out a pill for that one, so that number is a doctor stumper. Exercise is about the only thing mentioned, but there are natural supplements that have proven effective for some including; purified Omega 7 (be careful here to make sure "purified" Omega 7, which come from fish, but is not in standard fish oil pills).
Bergamonte supplements have also been human tested to provide improvements in all Lipid Panel numbers, but I cannot take it, like all Rx cholesterol drugs, due to side effects similar to statins. This may not be a problem for you.
As you probably know, fish oil is always thrown in the mix, but now long term studies are starting to show little benefit of taking them, so who knows. I take a high quality fish pill and a Calamarine Oil Concentrate (from squid) supplement. Calamarine has a much higher level of DHA than fish oil does, which is why it is pushed by a famous doctor named Stephen Sinatra. But, again, who knows who is telling the truth?
If you want to really read up on this subject, below are three excellent books. If you read these you will be able to stump your doctor every time.

and nothing changes it. I also have a high rate of inflammation that nothing seems to help change either. And I have tried everything from diet, to supplements and even a low dose statin 3 times a week.
mobeen I suggest you read everything you can find and try to figure
out what works for you. Most normal people have good luck with changing their diets and adding some exercise.
He is a functional, neropathic doc and does a great blood test. It is almost like
a small book when I get my copy

Next week i will my test again.
Thanks for remembering
Today i have checked again my lapid profile and below are the numbers
Cholsterol 155
Triglycerides 183
HDL 38
LDL 78
VLDL 37
Cholesterol / HDL Cholesterol ratio is 4.1
What you guyz suggest now. Is it normal
But if that's what you like, you can do what you want.
Keep in mind your physician may be under great pressure to prescribe the drug to anyone who doesn't meet the "guidelines" ...
or he may be doing it to cover himself legally if you had a heart attack and died...
Or he could be part of a pay-for-performance incentive that financially rewards doctors for keeping patients lipid numbers inside the old guidelines.
By the way. These guidelines are plagued with financial conflicts of interest. Many of the people who served on the committees determining the guidelines had financial ties to statin drug makers. Of course they voted to lower the guidelines so more people are now qualified to buy the product.
You asked if your new lower cholesterol numbers are normal. NO! they are not normal. They are artificially suppressed by a drug that is suppressing you mevalonate pathway, cutting off many vital products your body needs. There is nothing normal about this.
