Hi,
My name is Katie. I am 22 years old. I have GERD as well as a hiatal hernia. I take dexilant and imipramine to treat my GERD. I also have depression and social anxiety. I take pristiq to treat both. I take birth control as well because without it I have extremely painful debilitating menstrual cramps. I also get migraines several times a week, so I take isomethept-dichloralp-acetamin as needed. I normally have low blood pressure and a fast heart rate. My blood pressure is usually somewhere between 95/60 and 105/70 and my heart rate is usually somewhere between 75 and 85. When I went to the doctor's yesterday, my blood pressure was 144/76 and my heart rate was 135. I forgot to mention it to my doctor and ask her to take it again. (the medical assistant took it the first time before the doctor came in) When I got home, I took it again. This time it was 135/90. I took it again today and it was 118/90. 118 is fine, but the 90 worries me. I don't get it... I've never had high blood pressure. I was diagnosed with bronchitis yesterday. And I understand that that could raise my blood pressure. But it doesn't seem like it should raise my blood pressure this much, right? Should I be worried? Does it seem like this has to do with being sick or does it sound like I need to make some lifestyle changes? Any opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Katie

aww comfort hugs.. your B P really is'nt that high, STRESS will raise your BP , also any illness or pain..it is nornmal to for a persons blood pressure to jump when seeing the doctor ,especially if you have issues , anxiety etc...it's called '''the white coat'' syndrome...no dont' worry keep a check on it , also i find doing deep breathing exercises helps in lowing the b p /heart rate...be sure and talk to your dr or nurse about it , makes sure they are properly takeing your b p too ! hugs and prayers, jobby

Don't worry. BP goes up and down. Ususally I was calm at home but had some stress. The nurse put me on strong BP pills. I was feeling like death. I went to another PA. He took me off and my BP is fine again.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
