I'm cautiously optimistic. Over the past several weeks, I've started walking in the pool 3 days a week and walking on the treadmill and lifting weights when I can - a couple days a week.
I'm also meditating and taking an epsom salt bath every day.
I'm drinking hibiscus tea - 3 cups/day, trying to eat more veggies and fewer carbs and I'm taking more vitamin D, CoQ10, fish oil, magnesium and zyflamed (tumeric, rosemary and other herbs).
My bp has gone from 140/90 - sometimes higher, occasionally lower. Now it's 123/77!
If it goes up again, I can use Hawthorn and Hibiscus tea.
Just wanted to share in case others want to ask their doctor about natural remedies.

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

I drink it for other reasons and did not know about it having affect on BP.

I had thought that my BP was high because I was getting sort of a mild but weird cold sweat thing and a bit of a racing heart. Then they took my BP and it was 90/60 - a bit too low for me so we're adjusting - down to 1 cup of Hibiscus tea a day and we'll lower the dose of the propranalol a bit.
Hibiscus tea - found this on a website - Hibiscus tea has been a traditional remedy for high blood pressure in Iran and other countries around the world. In one study, drinking hibiscus tea for just 12 days reduced systolic pressure by an average 11.7 percent and diastolic pressure by 10.7 percent.
However, this remedy is one that must be used continuously to maintain its positive results. When participants in the same study stopped drinking the tea for just three days, their blood pressure began to creep upwardsystolic pressure by 7.9 percent and diastolic pressure by 5.6 percent. Ive also found this to be true in my own experience.
Look specifically for tea made from Hibiscus sabdariffa. It is generally made from the flowers and fruit of the plant.
My doctor originally said 3 - 5 cups a day - make sure it's organic.
My doctor also said that beet juice can be good as well. For now, I don't need to add it, but will if my blood pressure gets high again. For now I just need to keep an eye on it.
